Willie Gibson Memorial.
Willie was an old gent who lived in the Jenny Lind area of Thornliebank, a well-respected member of the local community and frequented the Trade Winds Hotel until its closure.
Like the early addition of a lost watering hole, he, like Jim Lynn, John Dillon, Davy Doyle, Phil McCafferty & Robert Ray, settled in the Shaws Bar and probably the first to pass away at 80 odds, out of that contingent.
His daughter and family attended the presentation of trophies to present the winner with the trophy.
